Quetzaltenango Temple being built

Last week Jeff's a long awaited dream came true. Jeff served his mission in Guatemala 26 years ago this September. When his work received the mechanical work on Quetzaltenango Temple the project engineer put him on the team and told him that they would take turns doing the site visits. So a week ago Thursday he found out his dream would come true. It was a quick trip but, totally worth it. His spanish is a little rough but, he will have to work on it. You can see the progress of the temple. No time for visiting old mission areas or site seeing. Maybe next time he can take some vacation time and do that. They did try to make a detour on the way back to the city to see Lake Atitlan but, there was a mudslide on the road and were not able to make it hopefully next time. It is a beautiful country. I am so happy he made it back and hope he does again.
