The Lords Missionaries

Tomorrow Elder Durrant goes into the MTC and will begin his journey there for six weeks, then he will head off to the Chile, Concepcion Mission. Landon and Connor's friendship began when they were five years old and played Jr. Jazz on the same team and they have been the best of friends every since. We are so excited for him and for the people of Chile...but, we will miss him in our home.

After sitting for years at Baseball and Basketballs games you can't help but become great friends with the parents too. We wish The Durrant's the best of luck as they beginning this new adventure with Elder Durrant! 

March...a month of Baseball!

For years we have talked about going to Phoenix to watch Spring Training Baseball. With Landon's departures fast approaching we put it on the top of the list and made it happen during the boys spring break. We didn't take a lot of pictures...just tried to enjoy being together and the warm weather and of course a little baseball! 

This is the amazing sunset we saw as we walked to the Camelback Ranch Field to watch the Dodgers and  the Royals play. The next day we saw the White Sox vs. Athletics and that night we went to the Indians vs. Giants game.

 In December we had bought tickets for the Colorado Rockies and Seattle Mariners coming to Spring Mobile Park in March. So we had two weekends of Baseball in March. After a long winter we enjoyed a beautiful Spring day at the park!
